Welcome! Today we board our flight to ‘Hampi Badami Vijaypura’! On arrival at Hubli Airport, get greeted by your Friendly Travel Professional, who will later escort you to your hotel and assist with your check in. Badami – formerly known as Vatapi, it was the regal capital of Badami Chalukyas. Overnight stay in Badami.
After breakfast, visit three small town of Karnataka i.e. Badami, Aihole and Patadakallu, which are also UNESCO sites famous for many temple complexes of Hindu and dravidian architecture style. Morning we explore Badami caves – a Hindu and Jain temple complex. these temples are carved out of soft sandstone and supported by stone columns and brackets. Get astonished by the various intricate stone carvings at these temples. Later proceed to Aihole to explore various temple remains. It is a tranquil village situated on the banks of Malaprabha river and referred as 'cradle of hindu / dravidian temple architecture'. Travel to Patadakallu to witness the impressive series of temples including the masterpiece 'The temple of virupaksha' built by Queen Lokamahadevi to commemorate her husband's victory. Overnight stay in Vijaypura.
After breakfast, we visit Gol Gumbaz – a tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah, its circular dome is said to be the second largest in the world after St.Peter’ Basilica in Rome. Later visit Ibrahim Rauza also called as "Taj Mahal of the Deccan” is a tomb of Ibrahim Adil shah II and his Queen. Explore Vijayapura Fort, where you can see a large canon from 16th century "Malik–E–Maidan toph". Later proceed to Hospet. Arrive at Hospet in the evening. Overnight stay in Hospet.
After breakfast, Proceed to Hampi. Explore Hampi - a medieval Hindu Kingdom of Vijaynagar and also a UNESCO site. Hampi originally known as Pampa-kshetra was the Capital of Vijaynagar. Millions of touriest visit Hampi to see the temples, its monolithic sculptures and monuments for their excellent workmanship. Visit monuments like Shri Virupaksha Temple, Statue of Lakshmi Narasimha, Sri Krishna Temple, Shri Vijayavitthala Temple, Lotus Mahal, Royal Palace remains, pushkarni, Elephant Stables etc. Return to Hospet in the evening. Overnight stay in Hospet.
After breakfast. Proceed to Hubli. En-route visit Anegundi village previously called as KishKindha situated on the banks of Tungabhadra River and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy thrilling coracle ride (subject to operation) on Tungabhadra River. Arrive at Hubli in the evening. Overnight stay in Hubli.
Proceed to visit Banashankari temple and Chandramauleshwara Temple to see the remarkable architectural wonder. In the evening spent free time at Lake Unkal, a major source of drinking water for hubli city. This picturesque water body is surrounded by a lush garden and offer enchanting sunset view. Enjoy boating in the serene waters of the lake (subject to operation). Overnight stay in Hubli.
After breakfast, Drop at Hubli Airport. Depart to your hometown.
